ROOMY is always at your fingertips even if you face any difficulty in locating us.

You will receive a "How to reach" message on the day of check-in with a map link and the Hostel/Pgs/PG’s front desk contact number over SMS. To reach your ROOMY accommodation, all it takes is just to navigate or call. You can use any of these options

  1. If you have booked through App, use the ROOMY App to navigate to your location
  2. Use Map link sent over SMS to navigate
  3. Call the property front desk for directions to your ROOMY
  4. Please check your Booking Confirmation Mail for Directions and Map Link to your hostel/Pg
  5. Go to Bookings page under Manage Bookings section on Website to find directions
  6. Call the ROOMY helpline

*For the ROOMY App, go to "My Bookings" and click on the booking for which you want directions to “Get directions”. This will use default map application in your phone for navigating to your hostel/Pg/PG

You need to carry a valid government-issued address ID proof with photo with an address not in the same city as the hostel/Pg. Some of the valid id proofs are:

  1. Driving License
  2. Voter ID Card
  3. Passport
  4. Aadhar Card

On the homepage of the ROOMY website, Hover over the "My Bookings" section on the top right and Click on "Manage/Cancel Bookings", enter your registered mobile number and booking id to know the status of your booking.

On the App, you can go to the "My Bookings" section to view the status of your bookings.

You can also call on our Customer Helpline number to know the status of your booking.

Oops! You cannot use the coupon and SHELTER Money together on a single booking. Please use either SHELTER money to pay for a booking or apply a discount coupon.

ROOMY does not currently allow you to modify a discounted booking. You cannot shorten the booking, or modify the location. How about canceling and re-book? You will get refunded as per cancellation within 7-12 working days.

We want to make sure of your arrival and ensure the best for your bed before check-in. For the same, ROOMY tries to reach out to you via SMS and over call to make sure your arrival is confirmed. Sometimes when you fail to respond or confirm your arrival, the booking might not be confirmed. This is followed for non-prepaid bookings.

For bulk bookings, you can contact us at our helpline number or write us at bookings@ROOMY.com. You need to make an advance payment of 25% of the total booking amount to confirm the booking.

You can always book for someone else and provide the guest name while making the booking. However, booking name cannot be changed after confirmation. Also, the guest name should match the ID proof presented during check-in.

Our standard check-in time is 12 noon and check-out time is 11 am.

However, some properties may have different check-in and check-out schedule. You can view the same in the "Hostel/Pg &pg Rules" section in the Hostel/Pg/pg listing page on the website and just above the check-in and check-out dates in the Hoste/PG listing page on the app.

Early check-in and late check-out both are subject to Beds availability at the hostel/Pg/pg.

Pay at Hostel/Pg/pg. is not available at all our hostel/Pgs/pg. due to the high demand. We have various modes of online payment; why not try them this time?

Yes we provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, with the booking.

We do not charge cancellation fees for bookings cancelled within 10 minutes of creating the same booking. Any amount paid will be refunded. We would love to host you but in case your plans change, our simple cancellation process makes sure you receive a quick confirmation and fast refunds. Our standard check-in time is 10 AM.

For bookings up to 3 rooms

In case you decide to cancel a booking after check-in time or do not show up at the Hostel/Pg/PG, charges for the first two days, shall be deducted.

Mid Stay Cancellations

In case you decided to stay will discontinue your paid amount will be refunded.

You need to pay at least 25% of the booking amount as advance to make a booking for 4 or more beds.

In case you do not show up at the Hostel/Pg/PG, no refund is applicable on the booking.

Mid Stay Cancellation

In case you decide to shorten your booking for 4 or more beds post the check-in date, no refund is applicable on the booking.

We hate to make you wait and that’s why after the successful processing of a refund, it takes 7-14 working days for the amount to get credited to your bank account or payment merchant account. It solely depends on the bank/merchant and unfortunately, ROOMY does not have much control after processing the refund.

The amount gets automatically refunded to the source within 7-12 working days if you have a prepaid booking. If in case you do not receive the refund in said timeframe, do write in to us at support page or get in touch with us at our 24X7 guest support helpline. However all refunds for cancellation are subjected to our cancellation policies.

The payment voucher is sent automatically to your registered E-mail ID once you checkout. You can also request it through bookings@ROOMY.com in case you have missed it.

The invoice for your stay will be provided by the Hostel/Pg/PG during checkout. Make sure you collect it at the Hostel/Pg.

PAN Cards are NOT Valid as ID Proofs

The Hostel/Pgs/PG’s do not allow check-in if the name on the ID proof is different from the name on the booking confirmation voucher.

Sorry! We do not accept the photocopy of the ID proof. It is a statutory requirement to show your original identity proof.

Confused about the journey dates? You can extend your booking subject to availability at the hostel/Pg/pg. You can easily get in touch with us on our guest support helpline for the extending dates. However, new tariff will be applicable for the duration.

A discounted booking cannot be modified. For all other bookings, modifications such as increase/decrease the number of beds can be done prior to check-in, which can be done by reaching out on our helpline. We would not be able to modify last moment reduction in the number of beds and it will be subject to cancellation charges as per cancellation policy.

At ROOMY our tariffs are dynamic in nature and can change subject to demand and supply. The extension made to any booking is subject to availability and new tariff will be applicable.

Yes! Early check-in (before 12 noon) and late check-out (after 11 am) are subject to Beds availability and chargeable. You can check the policy here .

Cancelling a ROOMY is as quick and easy as booking one. Use any of the following ways to cancel based on the booking channel:

  1. For website
    • Login into your account, use manage bookings to cancel your bookings
    • If you have not created the account, go first to the ‘My bookings’ link on the top right corner of the home page of the website and click on Manage bookings there. Enter your phone no. used to create the booking and your booking ID. You will be redirected to a new page. Go to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Cancel Booking’
  2. Android/IOS app: Go to “My bookings” by clicking on the side menu you see on the home screen and click on your bookings you wish to cancel. There would be an option to cancel the booking. You can cancel your booking by clicking on it.
  3. You can also cancel your booking by calling on our guest support helpline from your registered mobile phone

All cancellations will be subject to the cancellation policy, which you can check by clicking here.

You can modify your booking by cancelling a part of it prior to check-in by calling our guest support helpline. Part cancellations will be subject to cancellation charges as per policy. Check our policy here

We would be disappointed to know that you couldn’t make it this time to ROOMY. The cancellation charges as per the policy will be applicable. You can check the samehere

Pay at Hostel/Pg/PG provides you with the flexibility of paying when you reach Hoste/PG, but the number of beds that can be booked with pay at Hostel/Pg/PG is limited to 3 beds only. On the other hand, Prepaid lets you book as many beds as you want and the payment has to be made at the time of booking only.

You need to change the payment mode to “Prepaid” to complete the booking or you can get in touch with us for any further help on our guest support helpline.

The bulk booking (more than 3 beds) cannot be created in case of postpaid bookings. Please refer here for more information.

With just a few clicks, you can update the details in your account. Follow the below steps based on the mode of booking:

  1. Website -Log in using your credentials and go into “Profile”, fill in your desired information and click on update.
  2. Android -Click on account in the menu button, change details and update.
  3. IOS - Click on the menu button, click on the name of the account holder, change info and update.

Don’t worry! When this pops-up, click on “forgot password”, enter the phone number you used to create the account previously and you will receive an OTP. Use this OTP to gain access to your account.

Commonly happens all the time? Not to worry! Try to login and click on “forgot password”. Enter your phone number used to create account previously. Once filled, click on verify and if it is correct you will be redirected to your account where you can change your password.

Oops! To have a ROOMY account it is mandatory to have a unique E-mail ID and a phone number. If you wish to book without a ROOMY account, you can contact us on our guest support helpline.

You are trying to logout - Go into the "Account" option available in the app, from there you can log out.

No, we want you to reminiscence all the stays and hence you won’t be able to delete the booking history as it is also required for the booking record.

Install the app again and click on “Get started” you will receive an OTP on the contact number entered by you and you can start using the app.

Of course, it’s easy! Once the user logs out, someone else can log in. After logging out, another user needs to enter his/her phone number after which an OTP will be generated on the same number which the user needs to type in for logging into his or her account.
